Comedian and YouTuber from Chattisgarh, Devraj Patel, met with a fatal accident on Monday while on his way to film a video in Raipur.

According to reports, Patel was a passenger on a motorcycle when the accident took place around 3:30 pm. He had just finished recording a video in Nava Raipur and was returning when a truck collided with the motorcycle, causing severe injuries to his head and other body parts.

The accident occurred near the Labhandih area, under the jurisdiction of the Telibandha police station. The motorcycle's handlebar hit the truck, which was moving in the same direction. As a result, Patel, who was riding as a passenger, got trapped under the rear wheel of the heavy vehicle.

Fortunately, the motorcycle rider, Rakesh Manhar, escaped unhurt and immediately called for an ambulance. Patel was rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Hailing from Mahasamund, the young YouTuber gained fame through his video titled "Dil se bura lagta hai" (It hurts from the heart).

Expressing his condolences, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel shared an old video of Devraj on his official Twitter account. In his tweet, Mr. Baghel wrote, "Devraj Patel, who brought smiles to millions with 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai,' has left us today. It is deeply saddening to lose such incredible talent at such a young age. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to cope with this loss. Om Shanti."

Devraj Patel's popularity soared when his dialogues, especially his catchphrase "Dil se Bura Lagta hai," went viral on social media. He also collaborated with YouTuber Bhuvan Bam in the web series 'Dhindhora,' where his famous dialogue reached a larger audience.
