In a recent reel posted by Voot on Instagram, we saw a teaser of a difficult situation faced by Palak Purwani in Bigg Boss OTT 2.

During a task in the show, three contestants, namely Akanksha Puri, Bebika Dhurve, and Aaliya Siddiqui, were sent to jail for being accused of being fake. The task involved the housemates naming two people they believed were not genuine, and the ones with the most votes ended up in jail.

Here's the twist

The viewers watching the live feed also had the chance to vote. If the audience's choice matched that of the housemates, the weekly BB currency would be doubled. However, if the audience's decision differed, the currency would be reduced to zero.

Each contestant in the Bigg Boss house starts with a certain amount of BB currency, which they use to buy things they need. It's like the money they can spend inside the house. The participants buy groceries and other essentials with this money (BB currency).

During the task, the housemates took turns naming the contestants they thought were fake. Akanksha and Bebika received the most votes. Then, the captain, Falaq Naaz, was given the power to nominate one more contestant for jail, and she chose Aaliya.

Unfortunately, none of the three contestants sent to jail matched the audience's choice, which meant that the weekly BB currency became zero.

Palak’s Dilemma

Now, the dilemma fell upon Palak. She had a special task where she had to choose between getting back 30K BB currency or getting Akanksha out of jail. This decision sparked discussions among the participants about the limited food supplies and the difficulty of staying in jail.

Palak found herself torn between personal gain and helping her fellow contestant. The outcome of her decision could affect relationships in the house. The tension arose inside the Bigg Boss house as participants were divided into two groups.

One group who wanted Palak to choose BB currency mentioned that they are out of necessities such as onions and tomatoes. While the other group advised Palak to get Akanksha out of the jail as they believed staying inside the jail was difficult. This put Palak in a dilemma whether she had to make a major decision.
