About Lisa

OTV launched a video of Lisa where she gave her introduction. She further added that her introduction to the world is a moment for the history books. She revealed that she will be hosting news on the channel.

Lisa looks like an authentic Odisha woman, in the video uploaded on Odisha TV’s YouTube channel, she can be seen wearing a beautiful red saree. OTV mentioned that Lisa is capable of speaking multiple languages and can present news in Odia, English, and other languages.

This was evident by the videos uploaded on OTV and OTVEnglish YouTube channels. Lisa was seen talking in Odia in the former while she spoke in English in the latter. The news station said that Lisa is still in the developing phase when it comes to her Odia speaking skill. The developers want to upscale her skills to a level where she can easily interact with others.

The introduction of Lisa comes just a few months after India Today Group launched their first AI news anchor Sona. In the video uploaded on the OTV News English YouTube channel, Lisa can be seen speaking in English. She talks about the history of Odisha TV news station. She mentions that OTV came into existence nearly two and a half decades ago.

People are getting gaga over this tech revolution. Users are praising Lisa for her beauty and on-point looks, users are also praising her way of presenting news as well as her composure and voice. At the same time, some users have suggested that Lisa’s hand gestures and facial expressions can be improved.
