Owing to our habits of doom scrolling and stalking capabilities on Instagram Reels, Forbes India and Goat have released a new consolidated list of 100 Influencers. This list is based on metrics provided by Goat which has proven to be the best tool for marketing in the Influencer Industry. The prime focus is on engagement, views, impressions and of course- reach. Everything that goes viral is not the best type of content always, isn’t it?

Qualitative evidence has also been greatly considered in the compiling of this list. Creators need to understand the target audience of their work as well. The audience is evolving at a much higher pace than one fathoms and therefore, content creators have to yield A- A-level content which also carries the retention rate. Comic creators like Dharna, Niharika NM, Ankita Sehgal, Yuvraj Dua and our favourite- Kusha Kapila with many others have established a definitive audience for themselves. Their niche is to strike a chord with the normal mundane parts of our lives and make them relatable.

The list mentions some of the most famous creators whose travel itineraries and fashion recommendations pivot our decisions almost everyday. Komal Pandey, Siddharth Batra, and Mridul Sharma are now our permanent fashion ‘inspos’ regardless of our affordability. Forbes also mentioned that our most-watched creators like Ankush Bahuguna, The Rebel Kid and Saloni Gaur have secured their place on the list. The emphasis of this analysis lies on the original creators on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook whose follower count and established viewership are off the charts consistently. Goat’s metrics significantly helped in discerning the fake follower count and viewership details between creators to rank influencers accordingly. Consolidating all metrics, the influencers were awarded a score of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.
