During our mundane schedules and sad lives, social media influencers add a bit of spice and razzmatazz every now and then. Standing tall amongst these are comic creators that use daily experiences and news to create something out of the park! In today’s day and age, where digital platforms are at the centrestage of all activities, these creators have carved a niche for themselves and pioneered in their own sense of humor. They are all famous for their unique style of comedy and rule the Instagram algorithm game.

1. Vishnu Kaushal and Govind Kaushal

Hanji Hanji mere veer! I hope you’ve not forgotten the two most funny creators on Instagram- the Ogs,the legends- Vishnu and Govind Kaushal!Famous for their skits and the remarkable characters they both create. From Rathi Sir to Sunita Ma’am, Shashwat to Mehul- the brothers seem to have captured the eyes of all Genz audiences. A few of their characters have become so well known that it’s almost impossible to discern the creators with their social media persona.
Showcasing their sibling-ship and ghar ki baatein, the Kaushal Brothers have carved their own path in the creator economy. Vishnu Kaushal’s 2023 was a rather illustrious one as he was cast in ‘Feels like Home’ streaming on Lionsgate play.
More so, even their brand collabs and paid partnerships are not skippable. Because of the personal connect and relatability that they establish with their audience, a lot of people even call them ‘Bhaiya’ and they have a name for their fans- Peach!

2.Dharna Durga
When I say Shimpi, who comes to your mind? Because we surely think of Dharna and her instagram universe! Dharna has made a mark on instagram with her relatable family skits and impersonations. Bua, Chachi, Mummy, Papa, Didi - you name it and Dharna has already copied all our relatives with such precision that it’s almost scary. A regular 22 year old, Dharna’s reels cross over a million views on the basis of sheer alikeness of one's own households with that of hers. She also collaborates with other creators and creates scenarios that we see everyday in our Shaadis, at Parks, and even at our houses! It’s impossible to find even one reel of hers that does not cross over 1 Million easily.

3. Ankush Bahuguna
Ankush has consistently proved to us that no matter what the situation is, he is fully capable of deriving humor out of it effortlessly. Right from 2020, Ankush Bahuguna has made comedy content and has recently expanded to showcase his impeccable makeup skills on ‘Wing it with Ankush’. While haters, or like Ankush likes to call them ‘Sapole’ continue to bring him down, his content always shines brighter. Whether it is his fashion, his makeup or dance; the one role outshining all others is his fatherhood to ‘Preeanka’! Collaborating with Shibani Bedi, they have easily been termed as the Internet’s collective mummy papa and not merely Preeanka’s. Ankush also posts reels featuring his mom occasionally and we can definitely see where he gets his humor from. Can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for Ankush!

4. Siddharth Gulati
The Genz Saif, Salman, Akshay and SRK- Siddharth Gulati a.k.a woken up sid has taken the internet by storm this year with his recreation of the most popular Bollywood songs. We must say, the impersonation is picture-perfect! An NRI, a West-Delhi Boy, a Bollywood hero- You name it and Sid has nailed it with perfection. Capturing the hearts of ladies with his ‘Saif’ waali smile,and mimicking bollywood’s Pap appearances, he has had a kickass year with phenomenal growth.

From siblings to mothers, RJ Karishma has managed to dive deep into the hearts of Indians. She has aced the tonality and comic timing of every character she portrays.
